Puppy Play

This is a playful collaboration between Reyhan Wilson and me. I made the visuals and code, while he produced the music. This experience is inspired by toddler stimulation videos and how it could be taken to the next level. Encouraging children, and even those unfamiliar with art in technology, to explore it.

Ideally, in the future, I would love to build this project on a grander scale with a physical and comically large remote. Possibly even delve deeper into more models with more complex actions.

3D modeling, code

2024

This utilizes the visual coding software Max and a 3D model I made in Womp. The panel on the right is a remote that is responsive to the dogs on the left. The buttons in the 2nd row are color-coordinated with each dog. When pressed, the dogs light up to match the beat of the music. Each dog is unique and either plays a melody, drum, or bass. The big button on top of the remote controls all the dogs and acts as an off and on switch. The last button is a slider that raises and lowers the volume.
